Hi there, I’m Mel Gerrard! I’m a mom and hairdresser located in Highland Park, LA. Since 2015, I’ve split my time between the desert and the city -but you can find me full-time in LA these days at Birdie Hair Studio. Located on Colorado blvd in Eagle rock.

I’ve been behind the chair since 2012, I still pinch myself that this is my job! I truly love what I do. Hair is your best accessory — it should move with you, reflect you, and make you feel incredible.
